It has been a year.

Wow, time flies.  It has been a year since I have even had one moment to pause and post an update on this Khronicle of our lives.

Here is an update of the past year...

 November 2010:
Kasey and I started meeting with a group of Young Married people in our Church each week who have become some of our, now, closest friends.  I got hired as a full time Clinician at Orange County Department of Education.  I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease-- gluten intolerance.  I took Comprehensive Exams as a final passage to graduate with my Masters.

December 2010:  Found out in the kitchen of my parents house that I passed my Exam and cried many tears of joy and praise to Jesus!
Kasey and I visit Del Coronado with Kasey's company and have the time of our lives, wine tasting and enjoying time together!

January:  Our Nephew Wade James Keller was born on 1-1-11.  Alot of Desert Trips with Roxy to go Dirtbiking (Kasey's Heaven)

February:  Lots of praying thoughout the house buying process.  Found a "perfect" home on the same street as Kasey's twin brother in Tustin...  made an offer and continuously prayed!

March:  Purchased our First home together in Tustin!!  Moved in and painted walls green in our living room on St. Patricks Day! High School Winter Camp in Mammoth!

April: We figured out that owning a house was alot of yardwork, and alot of cleaning. My AMAZING husband remodels the guest bathroom.

May: Kasey's birthday and beginning of his busy season,  and me finding out I may not have a job after July 1.  I graduated as a Master!  Kasey goes white water rafting and loves it!

June: Confirmed that I do not have a job after July 1. Prayed some more. Started to serve on High School Staff.  Backpacked Catalina. Celebrated Neal's UCSB graduation and our second anniversary in Santa Barbara with my family!

July: I was given the Lord's peace and patience while I waited to find what God had in His perfect plan for me.  Kasey prayed and supported me 110%. We fell more in love with the extra time the Lord provided for us. Got a new puppy on a whim and LOVE him.  His name is Doc Holiday.

August: Applied for a position as a Clinician in Santa Ana High Schools through Orange County Department of Education... Got the Job!  Kasey and I went to Hume Lake with the High School students from Voyagers...Both of us discovered that week that Christ had us EXACTLY where He wanted us...  Serving others in love.

September: I start working full time, Kasey smiles* Kasey and I continue to love working with High School; starting our discipleship groups and a "Shake Shack" (which we may or may not call "Salvation Shakes" (said with a slight lisp) or "Cravings") for the kids after church on Wednesdays!

Goals:
Love others more and more each day.
Continue to use our home as a vehicle for hospitality and warmth to others.
Travel/Backpack
Get Healthy
Balance
Again... Love.

All to Him I Owe

I hear the Savior say,
Thy strength indeed is small!
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power, and Thine alone,
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

.What a great reminder.

Searching

Kasey and I have been busy in our search for a home.  This is definitely a trying time, and if you ever think about us, please be in prayer that we would be patient and let God will lead us where He wants us to be.   We know that God has an awesome plan for us, and we trust fully and completely that He is faithful.  The Bible says, "You, Lord, are compassionate and gracious.  Slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness."   Kasey and I are learning to daily rely on Christ and His blessings that He bestows upon us.  We are so incredibly blessed to have family and friends who are so supportive of us and our journey to finding a place to call home.  We love you guys!  We will keep you posted on what God provides for us in the future.  It's uncertain but exciting all at the same time!

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Comforting Word

The Lord will work out his plans for my life—  for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Psalms 138:8 NLT

Cruising

We just returned from cruising with my side of the family to the Mexican Rivera. We went to places like Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallerta.   It was an amazing time just to spend with my parents and siblings.  I loved being with my husband for a whole week more than anything.  With school almost over, I have been soooo busy and rarely get to see him, but I was thrilled to spend a whole week with him all to myself!  It was awesome just relaxing by the pool and joking around with him.  We had so much fun!!  Cruising is definitely THE LIFE.  The food is incredible, the boat is insane, and time with my family I would never trade for anything!  <3

One Year Down.

Yesterday we celebrated our One Year Wedding Anniversary!!  Kasey made me breakfast and we exchanged gifts of "paper."   I had to sit through class all day 9am-5pm but after we were able to enjoy an AMAZING dinner at Gabbi's Restaurant in the Orange Circle.  It was such a delicious meal...we definitely found a new favorite dining place!  Then we swung by our local Walgreens and found these precious gems...
What can I say?...Kasey thinks I am pretty incredible. I think that he is pretty amazing too!
